Three things account for almost every sign in that will not go through.

You have not set a password yet

A new account arrives as an invitation. Until you open that email and choose a password, there is nothing to sign in with. Use Forgot Password to send yourself a fresh link.

Your account is waiting to be switched on

An administrator has to activate an account and give it permission groups. Until then the password works but there is nothing to see.

The code step

Administrators need two factor. If you have a new phone, an administrator can reset it for you from Users And Groups, and you set it up again on your next sign in.
